The City of Roanoke is excited to introduce Kyle Lester, our new Director of Finance. Kyle began his new role with the City of Roanoke on November 6, 2023.

Kyle and his wife have lived in Tarrant County for the last 20 years and both attended TCU. The City of Roanoke is honored to have Kyle’s wealth of knowledge and experience. Prior to joining the staff in Roanoke, he worked with the cities of Arlington, Weatherford and Colleyville. Kyle has years of expertise in financial management and long-term planning, as well as Government Finance Office Administration (GFOA) best practices. Under Kyle’s leadership, the City of Colleyville implemented a grant and comprehensive investment program, which totaled more than $70 million in cash and investments. Other notable career accomplishments include departmental reorganizations, partnerships and inter-local agreements, and debt management programs and initiatives. The City of Roanoke will greatly benefit from his diverse skillset and capability.
