IT is responsible for ensuring the secure and reliable operation of computer networks, servers, software applications, and databases that support essential functions like financial management, human resources, and citizen engagement.

The GIS Program Administrator is positioned in the Information Technology department. The Geographic Information System (GIS) group in Roanoke plays a crucial role in managing and utilizing geospatial data to support decision-making, asset management, planning, and various operational activities.
