Building Relationships; One Cup At A Time
The Roanoke Police Department has initiated the “Coffee with a Cop” program.
Coffee with a Cop brings Roanoke police officers and the community members we serve together–over coffee–to discuss issues and learn more about each other. Together, we can break down the barriers.
Roanoke police officers and members of the community take time to come together at a local location to provide an opportunity for real conversations about topics that matter. The informal setting allows Roanoke residents time to sit down with our officers, ask questions, and share what’s on your mind.
Ultimately, the goal is for Roanoke citizens and Roanoke officers to get to know each other, discover mutual objectives for the City of Roanoke, and strengthen the community partnership.
Any upcoming “Coffee with a Cop” meetings will be posted here, as well as on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Nextdoor.
“Coffee with a Cop” is a national initiative supported by the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Community Oriented Policing Services.
