Thank you to everyone who participated in our event and making it so succesful! The PEEP's and sidewalk chalk art winners will be picked by City Council on April 13. If you participated in all of our events, don't forget to enter all of your submissions to by April 9. Don't miss out your chance to win EGGAPALOOZA'S unleashed basket, valued at $750!!! Hunt for the Golden Egg
Go on a challenging treasure hunt through Roanoke with 6 fun stops! The first clue will be posted on the City’s website starting March 1. You’ll find clues at each stop! Take a picture/selfie in front of each clue. Email all photos, name and address to First 50 verified submissions win an awesome Easter basket full of fun surprises!
Baskets will be available for pickup at the Roanoke Visitor Center & Museum, located at 114 N. Oak Street, Monday - Friday 10am-6pm or Saturday 11am-7pm.

Peeps Art Contest 
Build a ‘Peeps’ Diorama! Any creative, silly theme is acceptable. Maximum size 12” x 18”. Submit photos with your name, address & Roanoke restaurant of choice by April 3rd to Roanoke City Council will award 1st, 2nd & 3rd place. Winners will receive a gift card to a restaurant of choice!

Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest
Design a work of art on your driveway or sidewalk! The theme is Easter! Maximum size is 9’ x 18’. Submit photos with your name, address & Roanoke restaurant of choice by April 3rd to Roanoke City Council will award 1st, 2nd & 3rd place. Winners will receive a gift card to a restaurant of their choice!

Easter DIY Hunt, Crafts & Game Kits 
Host your own Easter egg hunt at home by ordering an Easter Event Kit online! Will include a basket with 25 eggs (some with special prizes), candy, Easter themed games, crafts, coloring books, crayons, bubbles chalk, Unique Dining Guide, Walking Tour brochure and more! Only 200 available! Pickup at the Roanoke Recreation Center. Easter Themed Photo Booths
Come take a photo at one of our Easter themed photo booths! Photo booths will be located in the Roanoke Recreation Center lobby (501 Roanoke Road) and at the old fire museum (200 Main Street). Open 8 – 6 PM Monday – Saturday.

Egg-Cellent Adventure
Download an Easter egg template from the City’s website, decorate and hang it on a street facing window at home! At your leisure, take a drive or walk around Roanoke and ‘hunt’ for eggs! Great socially-distanced family fun! AVAILABLE NOW!

VIP Visits with the Easter Bunny

The Easter Bunny had so much fun visiting the children of Roanoke and was so thankful to all the families for all the fun and gigles! The Easter Bunny has now moved on to get ready for Easter!  
VIP Visits with the Easter Bunny are now over. 

Sign up for a personal visit from the Easter Bunny*! The Easter Bunny will visit your home and deliver a family-friendly Easter basket, take photos and have some laughs!

Easter Bunny Flash Mob
Purchase an 6 ft cardboard cutout of the Easter Bunny. Paint, decorate and add it to a ‘mob’ of Easter Bunnies attached to a fence panel around the historic water tower (near 108 S. Oak Street)! Stake included. Bunnies can be picked up at the Roanoke Recreation Center. Only 50 available! If you’d like to keep your bunny after the holiday, it must be claimed by April 5 back at the Recreation Center. AVAILABLE NOW!

Easter Bunny Road Trip
The Easter Bunny is hitting the roads of Roanoke! The Easter Bunny will be cruising through Roanoke’s major neighborhoods and apartment complexes perched on top of the Roanoke fire truck! Lights & sirens will let you know they have arrived. Be sure to come wave hello to the Easter Bunny and try to catch an egg or two! 

*In order for traffic flow to go smoothly we will not be passing through certain streets listed below in that particular neighborhood.
We recommend parking cars in the driveway or garage, as our equipment might not be able to get through.  Thank you for your cooperation!
