Recreation Center

Facility Information

The Roanoke Recreation Center is a 38,000-square-foot facility that has a 3,600-square-foot weight room with a full line of upper and lower body strength development equipment. A Smith machine, bench press, dumb bells, free weight benches, and Olympic squat rack are also available.

Cardio equipment includes:

Concept 2 Rower

An aerobics room is filled with a variety of aerobic and fitness classes for all ages and body types. Two racquetball courts and 2 full-size basketball courts (both courts are convertible to volleyball) are available for reservations and rentals. A walking track encircles the 2nd level of the gymnasium.

Children's Activity Center

We have a Children's Activity Center (CAC) with staff on duty (see hours posted below). Children from 6 months to 12 years old can be placed in the CAC for $1 per hour and for a maximum of 2 hours.

Classrooms

There are 4 classrooms upstairs that are utilized for a wide assortment of educational classes, activities, and are available for meetings/party rentals. The game room has:
