The Al & Lula Mae Slaughter Park Foundation Board consists of 7 members, of which at least 3 directors shall be represented by the Al and Lula Mae Slaughter family, which is composed of the Williams and Hammack families. Current members are:

Foundation Overview
The Al & Lula Mae Slaughter Park Foundation was formed and incorporated for the purpose of receiving gifts, legacies, and devices to be used solely by the City of Roanoke, to operate the Al and Lula Mae Slaughter Park facilities, a municipal public park, located in the City of Roanoke for the following purposes:
- Public park facilities
- Public park improvements
- Specific recreation and public park programs
- Year round maintenance of the Al and Lula Mae Slaughter Park
