  2. Empty Pockets- Evenings on Oak Street Concert

    September 25, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Austin Street Plaza

    Empty Pockets performs songs of various genres - new country, classic country, classic rock and variety songs . The band is always adding new songs to the setlist which is required to keep the band's sound fresh and updated. With both male and female lead vocals, our music selection covers a wide variety of styles.

    Relaxed adult writing group for ages 18 and up. All writers are welcome, published or unpublished. Meetings are generally focused on group critiques, but sometimes include discussion on topics relevant to writing and publishing. For critiques, bring one copy of whatever writing sample you wish to share, and the library will provide photocopies.

    Scribblers is our weekly teen creative writing group for ages 11-18. Activities may include writing workshops, critique groups, creativity exercises, games, and more. Teens are encouraged to bring a pen and notebook, but we can provide supplies if needed. Laptops and/or tablets are also permitted.
